We Are Family

Family is a term that is not limited to blood relations. It's about the people in our lives who accept us, support us, and care for us. They would do anything to see us smile and love us unconditionally, without any conditions or limitations.

Every family is unique in its own way, and we should celebrate the differences that make it unique. My new children's book, "Families Are Made of Love," portrays the diversity of families that exist in our world. It highlights the fact that love is the bond that holds them together, no matter what shape, size, or color they come in.

In today's world, families come in all shapes and sizes. Gone are the days when a family was defined by a mom, dad, and kids. Today, a family could be a single parent with their child, a same-sex couple raising a child, a grandparent raising a grandchild, or even a group of close friends who support and care for each other.

A family is a place where we can be ourselves without fearing judgment or criticism. It's a soft place to land, where we can seek refuge when things get tough. Family is there for us, no matter what happens, and they love us for who we are.

My family is an excellent example of how love can bring people together, even without traditional marriage. We've been together a very long time, and despite not fitting into society's norm., we've built a strong family with grown children and grandchildren. We are a family through thick and thin, and I am proud to call them my people.

Life is short, and we should cherish every moment we have with our loved ones. We should surround ourselves with people who make us happy, love us for who we are, and bring positivity to our lives. Our family may be unique, but we are proud of who we are and wouldn't want it any other way.
